I bought my purse last week and didn’t realize it had such an awful musty smell to it until I got home. It smells really bad. The quality of the purse looks good to me and I like it. It just stinks.
How can I get rid of the smell? Has anyone else experienced the same odors with their replica purses? Help!

Its a fake, therefore its not held to the same quality standards as authentic bags. These bags are made very cheaply by people who are prob a bit shady. Who knows where its been and whats been done to it. All I can say is try putting it in the freezer and dont buy replicas.

put a febreeze dryer sheet in it, put it in a zip lock bag for like a week or two…. this should absorb and get rid of the odor. also you could sprinkle in some baking soda. let sit and vacuum out after a day or two of sitting….. It smells bad because of the glue and material they use to put them together.
