I got another Louis Vuitton purse at the offical Louis Vuitton store in Lynex , GA.
The straps are actually not a real light tan, there a just bit darker.

I know most of them now are a lighter shade. Is that new or something?

anyways, yea: the darker straps are just natural variation in the leather, so no worries.

all i know is that good quality leather gets a little more of a darker tan over time, so either its a new thing, or they sold you something used by one of the employees

When my husband and I were in the South Coast store recently he commented that some of the leathers looked a little darker than others. Maybe it was a bag that had been looked at a few times, or had been on display and the leather got a little darker. Every so often I see some that are almost white! It could be different leather lots also. I just got the black denim LV with black leather trim…so nice not to have to worry about the patina!
