I have a yellow cloth kinda dooney and bourke purse with leather handels and it got really dark to the point where its almost black.
I already tried water and soap but that didnt really help.Can you put it in the washer? or what can you do to get rid of the black stains?

You will need to dry clean it or at least use steam. What is happening is oxidation, and washing it with soap will only attract more particles which will get into the fabric, not to mention ruining the color.
You might try getting another Dooney and Burke purse at to give your current one a time-out while it is cleaned. Cycling your purses is the best way to ensure they remain durable.
