LOUIS VUITTON Papillon bag – the LIMITED EDITION with Aquarelle or Watercolor motif. This bag is this year’s IT bag! The wait list is so long that there isn’t enough bag for everyone on the list. It has been featured for months in most of the fashion magazines.This version is the Fall -08 version of the Aquarelle Papillon bag – in the brown monogram with 17 watercolors. This bag is the chic version – framed with acetate that has “LOUIS VUITTON” etching on it. The handles are made of exquisitely hand-painted snakeskin and so are the bag pipings.
This bag opens up like a doctor’s bag and the interior featuers a suede lining with one hand pocket and a snakeskin patch that is signed by Richard Prince and the following on it “Louis Vuitton, Paris, made in France” dated 2008.The interior frame is made of gold-toned brass with rivets and embossed with “Louis Vuitton”.
This is THE BAG to have if you want something different, if you want to stand out. It is such a chic and versatile bag that it can be used for day and evening. The snakeskin adds pizzaz to this classic bag.
MEASUREMENTS: The bag measures 30cm (12 inches) wide, 18cm (7 inches) high (from the side) and 14.5cm (5.75 inches) deep/diameter. The handles are approx 4 inches in height from the top of the bag.
