I bought a bag on on eBay like I have a hundred times before. She called it a “Gucci Bag.” I thought, “OK, a real Gucci bag.” Bag arrived. Fake. Wrote to her, “Hey, this isn’t real.” She said, “Of course it isn’t…I wouldn’t have started the bidding so low.” (How stupid. She says “Gucci bag, and I’m supposed to know it’s fake.
Escalate it to Paypal. They said I have to prove it’s fake. (Never mind that whether or not it’s fake is not the problem…the problem is she can’t say “Gucci” and have it be a fake. Gucci means “real Gucci” not “Fake” Gucci.
My question. Where can I take to to get it authenticated? I doubt the GUcci store will just go me a favor.
BTW Melissa, The authentic, beat-up, getting a hole in it Gucci bag I’m carrying today was bought for $45.
